At Golvarialux, we aim to provide a straightforward booking and refund process that reflects how our services operate. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, consultation bookings, accepted service bookings, and no-show situations are handled. It also outlines your rights under Australian law.

Our services include golf lessons, golf simulation, swing analysis, and club fitting. Because every paid service is arranged after an individual consultation and accepted through an agreed service plan, this policy applies specifically to accepted service bookings rather than initial consultation requests.

Consultation Bookings

You may request a consultation through our website by selecting an available date and time.

A consultation is an opportunity to discuss your goals, receive professional guidance, and obtain a personalized service quote. It is not the final booking of a paid service.

Since consultations do not require payment through our website, this policy's refund provisions apply only after a paid service booking has been accepted.

When Your Booking is Accepted

Following your consultation, we will provide a quote based on your recommended service plan.

Your booking is accepted only when:

  • You accept the quoted service.

  • The full quoted amount is paid in cash.

  • We confirm your scheduled service date and time.

Until these steps have been completed, no paid booking exists.

Canceling a Booking

If your plans change after making payment, you may request cancellation by contacting us at swing@golvarialux.com

To help us process your request efficiently, please include your name, booking details, scheduled session date, and contact information.

Cancellations Made 48 Hours or More Before the Session

If your cancellation request is received at least 48 hours before your scheduled session, you will be eligible for a complete refund of the amount you paid.

No cancellation fee will apply in this situation.

Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Before the Session

If your cancellation request is received within 48 hours of your scheduled session, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

The remaining 50% of your payment will be refunded using one of the refund methods described below.

This timeframe reflects that scheduled coaching time, facilities, equipment, and staffing have already been allocated for your appointment.

No-Show Policy

If you do not attend your agreed session and have not submitted an eligible cancellation request beforehand, your booking will be treated as a no-show.

A no-show results in automatic cancellation of that session.

No refund will ordinarily be provided in these circumstances because the booked session has been reserved exclusively for you.

However, this provision does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.

How Refunds Are Processed

Once a refund has been accepted, you may choose one of two available refund methods.

Bank Transfer

If you prefer a bank transfer, we will request the banking details reasonably necessary to complete the payment.

Accepted bank transfer refunds are processed within 24 hours after approval and receipt of accurate banking information. The time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your fiscal institution.

Cash Refund

If you prefer a cash refund, you must visit our business location to collect the amount.

We may request reasonable identification or booking corroboration before releasing cash refunds.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

This policy operates alongside your legal rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL, services supplied to consumers come with automatic consumer pledge. These pledges generally require services to be provided with due caution and skill, be reasonably fit for their intended purpose, and be delivered within a reasonable time where no timeframe has been agreed. These statutory rights cannot be excluded or overridden by business policies.

If a service fails to meet an applicable consumer pledge, you may be entitled to an appropriate solution under Australian law, which could include a refund, repair, replacement service, or cancellation of the contract depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or reduce those legal protections.

When Business Changes Affect Your Booking

Occasionally, circumstances beyond normal scheduling may require us to reschedule or cancel an accepted service.

If this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible and discuss an appropriate solution, which may include:

  • rescheduling your appointment,

  • providing another suitable booking time, or

  • issuing a refund where appropriate.

Privacy During Refund Processing

In some cases, processing a refund by bank transfer requires us to collect banking information.

Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies to our business, personal information collected during the refund process will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, which regulate how organizations collect, use, store, and protect personal information.

We will only request information that is reasonably necessary to complete the accepted refund and maintain appropriate business records.
